I have spent the last four hours reading this book, and yet I don't know I could tell you what REALLY happened. I LOVED Inside Out, though interestingly I can't really remember much of what happened in it.īut Outside In failed me. I cannot count how many times I have reread the Study series, and how many people I have told to read them. I really hate not being able to give it more stars.I LOVED the Study series.

Al snel blijkt haar ruzie met Riley nog de minste van haar problemen (ook al is ze nog zo verdrietig dat hij haar niet meer wil zien). Ze vertelt hem dan ook niets van haar opzienbarende ontdekking. Trella haat al die verantwoordelijkheid en gaat liever het gedeelte van Binnen verkennen waar nog nooit iemand is geweest, ook al haalt ze zich daarmee de woede van haar vriendje Riley op haar hals. Ze had gedacht dat oppers en sloven nu vredig samen zouden kunnen leven en dat zij lekker kon doen waar ze zin in had, maar niets is minder waar. Tot ze de mythische Poort naar Buiten ontdekte en een geslaagde opstand ontketende tegen de oppers. Vroeger was Trella een sloof, alleen goed genoeg om de buizen van Binnen schoon te maken.
